We offer professional installation services to help maintain the life and performance of your carpet. Here's what you can expect during your carpet installation.
You can trust Mountain West Flooring take care of the basics. First, we will send out an estimator to measure your rooms and determine how much carpet you need so that nothing is wasted. Then we will determine a schedule for installing your new flooring. Our installation team will need to use your electricity to power our tools and plenty of space to work.
We will move large furniture as part of our installation; however, you should move small items like lamps, televisions or any other breakables before our arrival. Arranging help to move extra large items or breakables will speed up the installation process.
Next, we will remove and dispose of your old carpet. Then we will remove any trim or moulding in the room and prep the subfloor. Please note: trim and moulding can be quite fragile and despite our best efforts, some pieces may be broken. If this happens, we cannot be responsible to replace them.
It is also possible that we may need to remove some doors to complete the installation. If your new carpet is thicker, your doors may have to be trimmed before they can be reinstalled. We do not perform carpentry work so it will be your responsibility to either trim them or hire a professional to reinstall them.
If you have any questions you have about the installation process, please give us a call or stop by our showroom. We are happy to help!
